Terms of sale
Last updated: 19 October 2026.
These terms govern every purchase made on ultimate-themepark.com of Ultimate Theme Park (the "Software"): the lifetime license and the extensions of its updates period. Please read them, and the technical requirements in particular, before buying. You accept them by ticking the box on the payment form.
1. The seller#

"You" means the buyer. A consumer is a natural person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession; some sections apply only to consumers and say so. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
2. What you buy#
The Software is made of two parts: the plugin, installed on your Minecraft server, and UTP Connect, a web application you host yourself.
A lifetime license gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software on one Minecraft server at a time, for as long as the license exists. Activating the license key on another server replaces the previous activation. To run several servers at once, buy one license per server (you can choose the quantity on the payment form).
The license includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. The versions released during that period remain available to you indefinitely. You may extend the updates period by one year at a time, from your account, for the price shown there; there is no automatic renewal.
You buy a right to use the Software, not the Software itself: it remains our property, as do its code, its name and its visual identity.
3. Technical requirements — check them before buying#
The Software only works in the environment below. It is your responsibility to make sure, before purchase, that you have it, and the skills to set it up — or someone who does. The requirements are described on the home page and in the documentation; those published on the day of your purchase apply to it.
- A Minecraft Java Edition server running Paper, in a supported version, with Java 21, on which you can install plugins yourself.
- The TrainCarts and WorldGuard plugins, third-party software you install yourself, in versions matching your server.
- A machine you control that can run Docker and Docker Compose — typically a VPS or a dedicated server — reachable from the internet, with a domain name pointing to it. This is where UTP Connect runs.
- Internet access from your Minecraft server to our license service, at least once every thirty days.
Most Minecraft hosting plans offering only a control panel do not allow running Docker. Such a plan alone does not meet requirement 3: you will need a separate machine for UTP Connect.
The Software is not supported on Folia, on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, or on server software other than Paper.
4. Prices and payment#
Prices are in euros. For consumers, they include VAT. VAT is applied at the rate required by law, which depends on your country of residence; a business with a valid EU VAT number may be invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rules.
Payment is made online, when you order, by the means offered by our payment provider Stripe. We never see your card details. The contract is formed once the payment is confirmed. An invoice is e-mailed to you after each payment and is also available from your account.
5. Delivery#
The Software is delivered immediately after payment: your license key is shown on screen and e-mailed to you, along with a sign-in link to your account, from which you download the Software and its documentation. If you did not receive your key, contact us.
6. Right of withdrawal#
As a consumer, you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract. This right does not apply to digital content supplied immediately once you have expressly agreed to the supply starting before the end of that period and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Belgian Code of Economic Law, art. VI.53, 13°).
On the payment form, you give that agreement and that acknowledgement by ticking the box before paying. As your key is delivered at once, no purchase can be withdrawn from once paid — neither the license nor an extension of the updates period.
This does not affect your legal guarantee of conformity (section 7).
7. Defects, the legal guarantee and refunds#
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content provided by the Belgian Civil Code. This section describes how we apply it; it does not limit it.
What counts as a defect. A defect is a malfunction of the Software itself: a feature described in the documentation that does not work, in a reproducible way, on an environment meeting the requirements of section 3.
What is not a defect, and does not give rise to any refund:
- an environment that does not meet the requirements of section 3 — in particular a hosting plan on which you cannot install plugins or run Docker;
- being unable to install, configure or operate your Minecraft server, your machine, Docker, your domain name, your network, your firewall or your reverse proxy;
- the behaviour of third-party software — Paper, TrainCarts, WorldGuard, other plugins, your host — or the use of versions not supported by the Software;
- a feature the Software does not offer, an expectation the product description did not create, or a change of mind;
- a problem caused by a modification of the Software, or by a use contrary to these terms or to the documentation.
The procedure. Open a ticket from your account, or write to [email protected], describing the problem. You agree to cooperate reasonably so that we can determine whether its cause lies in the Software or in your environment: versions in use, logs, steps to reproduce it. If you do not, it is up to you to show that the Software is at fault.
The remedy. We first fix the defect — with an update, a fix or a documented configuration — within a reasonable time and at no cost to you. Only if we cannot, and the defect is not minor, is the purchase refunded, in whole or in proportion to what it affects; the license concerned is then revoked. A consumer may alternatively ask for a price reduction.
A business buyer benefits from the same procedure, which replaces any other guarantee.
8. What you may not do#
You may not resell, rent, lend, sublicense, share or publish your license key; distribute the Software, its builds or its documentation; remove, bypass or tamper with its license verification; decompile it or reverse-engineer it, except to the extent mandatory law allows it; or use it to build a product that competes with it.
We may revoke a license used in breach of these terms, after notice by e-mail. We may also suspend a license whose payment is disputed or reversed with your bank, until the dispute is resolved. Please contact us before opening a dispute: we answer.
9. Support and updates#
Support is provided through tickets in your account and on our Discord server, in English or French, on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed response time. It covers the installation and use of the Software. It does not cover the general administration of your servers — setting up a VPS, Docker, a domain name, your network or your host — even if we sometimes help with it out of goodwill.
Updates are published at our discretion. The Software depends on third-party software (Paper, TrainCarts, WorldGuard) that changes independently of us; we strive to follow those changes, but cannot guarantee that a given version of the Software will remain compatible with their future versions.
10. The license service#
The plugin checks its license with our service when it starts and periodically; it keeps working for thirty days without reaching it. We undertake to keep the service available. If we ever had to discontinue it, we would give notice in advance and publish a version of the Software that no longer needs it.
11. Your server and your content#
You host UTP Connect yourself: you are responsible for your machine, its security, its backups, and the personal data of your players that it processes — for which you are the controller, not us.
You are responsible for the content you use with the Software, in particular the music and sounds you play to your visitors: you must hold the rights to them. We have no control over that content and are not liable for it.
12. Liability#
The Software is provided as described in its documentation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of data, loss of revenue or damage caused by third-party software, and our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability in the cases where the law forbids it, in particular for intentional fault, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, nor the rights that consumer protection law grants you.
13. Changes to these terms#
We may update these terms. A purchase is governed by the version published on the day it was made. These terms are available in English and in French; both versions are equally binding.
14. Complaints, mediation and applicable law#
For any complaint, contact us first at [email protected]: we will try to find a solution with you.
If you are a consumer and we do not reach an agreement, you may refer the matter free of charge to the Consumer Mediation Service (Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur), North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, box 1, 1000 Brussels, Belgium — mediateurconsommateur.be.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a dispute before the courts of that country. For business buyers, the courts of Namur (Belgium) have exclusive jurisdiction.
