How guests listen
/connect, one click, and the park's music plays on the guest's computer or phone — what they see, and what to tell them.
Updated 20 October 2026
/connect#
A guest types /connect in the game (or /audio, or /jukebox). They get a line in the chat:
Click here to open the Your Park page.
They click it, and a page opens in their browser — on the computer they play on (in a tab, on a second screen, or simply left in the background), or on their phone. It shows your park's name and logo, and one button: Enter the park. They click it, and from then on, the music follows them around the park.
The chat confirms it: "Your browser is linked to the park: you can hear the ambience."
Each link works once, for ten minutes. A guest who needs a new one just types /connect again. Nobody creates an account or installs anything.
What guests see#
The page has three tabs — four when your park has shows on a schedule:
- Audio — what's playing now, with its title and author, a volume slider, and the tracks heard earlier. The volume can also be set from the game, without leaving it:
/volume 40(or/vol 40), from 0 to 100, and the slider follows. - Operator — the ride control panel. It only comes alive in a ride's station; see Operating a ride.
- Photos — their on-ride photos, ready to download. See On-ride photos.
- Shows — today's shows: the next one, where it takes place and how long until it starts, then the whole day on a timeline. See Shows.
The page is in the guest's language (English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish or Italian), and they can change it at the top.
When a guest walks from one area into another, the music crossfades over three seconds. A track starts as soon as its first seconds have arrived: nobody waits for the whole file to download, even on a phone's data.
Tips to give your guests#
Put these on a sign near your park's entrance, or in your welcome message:
- Keep the page open. On a computer, the tab can stay in the background while they play. On a phone, keep the page in front: phones pause pages that go to the background.
- Check the silent switch. On an iPhone, the ring/silent switch on the side also mutes web pages.
- Click "Enable sound" if it appears. After reloading the page, the browser asks for a new click before playing again.
- Too loud, too quiet?
/volumefollowed by a number from 0 to 100 sets the page's volume without leaving the game. - Headphones help. Especially in a busy area.
One page per visit#
A guest's page lasts one visit to your park. It ends when:
- they leave the Minecraft server — the page closes at once and says so;
- your server stops or restarts — every page closes, and says so. After a crash, the pages wait about twenty seconds in case it is only the connection, then close.
Next time, they type /connect again, as they did the first time. A page left open overnight never comes back to life on its own the next day.
Closing the page is not leaving: the game tells them straight away — "The park page was closed: you no longer hear the ambience." — and they can reopen it for the rest of their visit. If a phone only loses its connection for a moment, the page picks up again without a word.
Next: Add your music.
