How it works

The three pieces of Ultimate Theme Park, what you need before you start, and the road to your first ride.

Updated 11 October 2026

Ultimate Theme Park does two things for your Minecraft park:

  • Rides that run themselves. Guests sit down, a countdown starts, the gates close, the restraints come down, the train leaves. It comes back, stops, lets everyone out, and waits for the next group. Several trains can share one coaster without ever running into each other.
  • Music in your guests' browser. Each area of the park has its own music, which fades in when a guest walks in and fades out when they leave. Rides can have their own soundtrack, and you can put on a show with music and effects on cue.

The three pieces#

1. The plugin. A .jar file you put in the plugins folder of your Minecraft server. It runs the rides and knows where every guest is standing.

2. UTP Connect. Your park's own web page, which runs on a small server that you rent (more on that below). This is where you set everything up: your rides, your music, your park's name and colours. Your guests open it in their browser to hear the music — on the computer they play on, or on their phone — and your staff use it as a control panel to operate the rides.

3. Your guests' browser. A guest types /connect in the game, clicks the link, and the music starts — in a tab next to the game, on a second screen, or on their phone. No app to install, no account to create.

The plugin and UTP Connect talk to each other all the time. When you change something on the web page, the game picks it up at once — you never need to restart your server for a setting.
