Make it yours

Your park's name, colour, logo and background on the guests' page, and the look of the messages in the game.

Updated 11 October 2026

Everything here lives in the administration, under Settings. Change what you like, press Save at the bottom, and it applies straight away — on the web page and in the game.

Your park's name#

Server name is the name your guests see: at the top of their page, in the browser tab, and in the game's messages. Up to 40 characters.

Colour, logo and background#

SettingWhat it does
Primary colourThe colour of buttons and highlights on the guests' page. Pick your park's colour; lighter and darker shades are worked out for you.
Background imageAn image shown, slightly darkened, behind the page. Leave it empty for a plain background.
LogoYour logo, at the top of the page beside your park's name — and the icon of your guests' browser tab, and of the page on their phone's home screen. Leave it empty to show the name alone, with a square in your colour as the icon.

For each, click Upload and pick an image from your computer — PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF — then Save. UTP Connect resizes it for the page, so a large file is fine. An image hosted elsewhere works too: paste its address in the field instead.

Messages in the game#

In-game message format decides how the plugin's chat messages look. The default is:

&f{serverName} &7▶ {message}

{serverName} becomes your park's name and {message} the message itself. The & codes are Minecraft's usual colour codes (&f white, &7 grey, &5 purple, &l bold…). The preview under the field shows the result.

The messages themselves are always grey, with what matters — a ride's name, a number of seconds — in white.

Languages#

The messages your guests see in the game — the link to their page, the countdown, the gates and restraints closing, the operator's welcome — exist in English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish and Italian. Each player gets them in their own Minecraft language when it's one of these six. For the others, the plugin uses the Default language you choose in Settings.

The replies meant for your staff — commands, signs, the operator panel — are in English.

On their page, guests can switch language at any time from the top.

Changing the wording#

The guests' messages live in plugins/UltimateThemePark/lang/ on your Minecraft server, one file per language (en.yml, fr.yml…). You can edit them freely: the plugin never overwrites your changes, and new messages that come with an update are added for you. Restart the server after editing.

To make a word stand out, put it between <white> and </white>, as the original files do.

Other settings#

SettingWhat it does
Releasing a stuck trainIf a ride stays blocked for this many minutes with nobody operating it, the plugin frees it. 10 minutes by default; 0 turns it off. See How rides work.
Keeping photosHow many days on-ride photos are kept. 0 keeps them forever. See On-ride photos.
Fill empty seatsPuts stand-in riders in the empty seats of on-ride photos, so they never look half empty.
Verbose loggingWrites every exchange between the game and UTP Connect in the console. Only useful when support asks for it.
