Ride soundtracks

A ride can have its own soundtrack, heard only by the people on board. It starts when the train leaves the station, from the beginning of the track, and the area's music comes back once the track ends.

Set it up#

1. Add the track to the media library.
2. In the administration, open Rides, click Edit on your ride, and go to the Machinery tab.
3. In On-board music, pick the track.
4. Save.

The next train out plays it.

Good to know#

• The track plays once, not on a loop. Make it roughly as long as the ride, or a little longer — it keeps playing after the train is back until it ends.
• On board, the soundtrack wins over everything else: the area's music and any show nearby.
• Only riders with their page open hear it — the same as for area music. See How guests listen.
